Richard Dunham is a Scenic and Lighting Designer as well as a Professor and Head of Design at the University of Georgia. He is a USITT Fellow and former Lighting Commissioner from 1998 to 2006. Thorough and insightful!
I have used this book in a class taught by Richard Dunham himself. Dunham is a phenomenal teacher whose passion and comprehensive knowledge of lighting design and the lighting field is readily displayed in the text. As a fundamentals book the text provides the early lighting designer with concise and indispensable lighting knowledge. The text also delves into more advanced concepts in areas where early lighting designers need to focus attention.
