There are multiple case studies and references that take the book beyond theory. The book also has a companion website with practice tests to assist with subject retention. Delivery was fantastic and the book was in good condition as advertised.

I'm studying for APR certification from the Public Relations Society of America. This is the text they recommend for study. I am more than satisfied that it meets my needs.

Dry, boring read, but best book for studying for Intro to Public Relations test.

Our PRSA chapter purchased this book and gifted it to the local library system to help practitioners who are studying for their APR exam. I haven't read this edition, but have an older Cutlip book. It is the PR person's Bible, a holy text.

Liked this book but, although the content is really interesting and not many authors have written about this kind of subjects in architecture, i think as Art lovers we tempt to be so graphic and the book is lacking them. Has few good pictures in B&W which, in my humble opinion, feels kind of absent.

After reading the book, the opposite seems true- it has a lot of white spaces and bullet points, and I read it in less than an hour. If you're looking for a quick, cheap overview of commercial real estate (basic definitions, general advantages & disadvantages of different CRE types, etc.) then this could work for you. If you're interested in details (strategies on finding properties & financing, finding & working with brokers & property managers, strategies specific to different types of CRE, advice on using LLC or other structures for asset protection, case studies on different lease types, descriptions of experiences & lessons learned, etc.), I would look for something more in-depth. He does provide some rules of thumb about what property types he recommends for beginners & what ballpark to stay in for certain metrics when starting out (cap rate, cash on cash return, etc.), and includes 3 case studies for illustration. I felt like those marginally made it worth the small amount I paid, although based on the description, I was expecting more. I appreciate the great advice he's shared in his videos, and if he has the inclination in the future to write books that go into more depth, I'll probably be interested.

This is a two volume set of books, meaning volume 1 and volume 2. Please stop sending people just volume two book, I need both volumes. This is very frustrating, I have ordered times and returned both times because I only received one book. I need both, I need the set. I am very frustrated.

If you are going to buy one book for your nursing school, may this one be the one. It's expensive, but really worth it. It's a behemoth of a book, hardcover and heavy- but for it's price, it's a bargain. It's over 1000 pages. This book was the primary textbook for both my med-surg and advanced med-surg class. I did not find the online access helpful. I read the chapters that were assigned to me at least twice before an exam and got A- on both my med-surg and advanced med-surg courses. Some people complained that the exams were impossible, but you just have to think as you read the book. It's really well-organized, and this will be the one book I will not sell back. It will help me for years to come, since I will be seeking employment in the medical-surgical unit.

This book does a good job of providing everything a new nurse needs to know and understand about med-surg nursing. There are great summaries in each chapter, with quizzes, and excellent tables to help synthesize a lot of information. However, I much prefer the clinical companion version because of the interactive question and answers that helped me estimate my understanding of the material. The companion takes just a few minutes to set up and is even quicker if you already have an account with the company because then you just log in and put in the code you receive. You can access the material anytime and there is no expiration date. Great resource for years to come.

My teachers were telling me to get the last edition but I didn't listen to them and I am so glad I didn't. Everything is the same with the last edition. It is such a great price compare to the last edition $130

Would love to give a 5, but I cannot. The book inside was exactly as described. The writing, or marking. It looks as if it was never read; even the code was still unscratched! I am very happy about this and how affordable it was. The description from the seller said that the cover shows wear. When I received it, I now see that the whole books spine is broken to the point where if I don't pick it up just right, the cover and binding will fall right off of the pages. I just wish that was better noted in the description. Great book otherwise. Shipping was as promised.

This got me through my Nursin 3 course (which is jam packed heavy with so much material). I give 5 stars because it helped me pass lol.Just a side note, as with most text books not every little word/phrase is important. The book is very large and depending on your time schedule you really won't be able to read everything. Hone in on the most important information (nursing interventions ALL THE WAY).Substitute memorization with understanding and you'll breeze through this book and your class!

I have the 2-volume paperback set. Great content. Great format. Med Surg is a huge field of study. So, to get as much "in"... this 2-volume set required a lot of work and decision-making. I think they pretty much nailed it. Yes...the brand new book is expensive. So maybe you can find an older edition. I lucked out and got this 2-volume set in near mint condition from Boomerang Books. But the book itself has been very useful in Med Surg. You could actually write term papers from this book and then supplement with outside research. Does it have everything? Of course not. But it has plenty to get me through Med Surg. I am a practical nursing student. I and my RN friend will not get rid of our copies of this book.

This is the SAME material in this textbook as the newest edition! You're only missing out on pictures as far as I'm aware, and the page numbers are of course not synced. If you're scared of missing information because this is an older edition, don't be!
